Set in a hairstyling salon, the landlady who lives upstairs is murdered and every one of the tenants could be a suspect. The audience helps solve the crime resulting in a different show every night! Green Day
The American rock trio released their  new album titled 21st Century Breakdown worldwide in May 2009 and it has received rave reviews. Green Day will be going on a world tour starting with North America in July, 2009 and will be performing at the Times Union Center on July 25th! Click here for details.

BID Annual Meeting June 23
The BID held its 13th Annual Meeting on June 23. The event, sponsored by Legacy Banks,  marked the organization’s progress toward its strategic priorities and outline its plans for future initiatives. The luncheon featured a keynote address by Pulitzer Prize winning novelist, William Kennedy. Click here to watch his speech. 

Sculpture in the Streets

The Downtown Albany BID'S 2009 Sculpture in the Streets public art exhibition & walking tour, sponsored by Kivort Steel of Waterford kicked off in high style on Friday, June 19  with a Garden Party fundraiser at downtown's Tricentennial Park. Albany has won the "All-America City" designation after City officials promoted its municipal improvements, youth programs and historical significance. Click here for details.
