It's Tournament Time
College sports take over the Times Union Center this month! Cheer on your favorite basketball and hockey teams at these events: MAAC Men's & Women's Basketball Championships from March 4-8, ECAC Hockey Championships from March 19-20 and NCAA Division I East Regional Ice Hockey Championships from March 26-27.

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day

Sculpture in the Streets 2009-2010 Exhibit Ending
This current exhibition which features 16 sculptures by 11 artists will be de-installed the week of April 12th. Only six more weeks remain to enjoy "The Art of Discovery", highlighting the creativity, exploration and perseverance of the artists that is reminiscent of the early explorers. Albany Symphony Orchestra Unveils its 80th Season
Executive Director Brian Ritter and Music Director David Alan Miller announced the 80th season for the Albany Symphony Orchestra earlier this month at the Palace Theatre. The season will run from September 2010 thru May 2011. Brown Derby Begins Private Luncheons
The Brown Derby is now offering private lunches Monday thru Thursday to be served in their dining room. The restaurant can accommodate groups from 10-40 people and buffets can be served for the larger groups if so desired. New Executive Chef Larry Schepici has created special menus specifically for these luncheons and would be pleased to custom design a menu as well. The Derby can provide screens and A/V equipment as needed and their complimentary shuttle is available for luncheon reservations.   Contact The Derby directly at 518-463-1945 to discuss possible options. Please note at least 24 hours notice is required. The Brown Derby will continue to serve lunch a la carte on Fridays from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Reservations are recommended, but not necessary.

To Kill A Mockingbird - The Movie & On Stage
The Palace Theatre and Capital Repertory Theatre have teamed together to offer coordinating discounts for this American classic story. As part of its Classic Movie Series, the Palace Theatre will screen the 1962 film on March 1st at 7:00 p.m. Beginning March 3rd and running thru March 28th, Capital Rep will bring the story to life on its stage.
