Tue, 07/16/2013 - 11:00am - Wed, 08/28/2013 - 4:00pm

The Irish American Heritage museum presents their newest exhibit which tells the story of "The Lion of Saratoga," whose vision gave birth to thoroughbred racing in Saratoga Springs in 1863. The new exhibit was wholly developed by the Museum and Liz O'Connell - a member of the New York State Task Force on Retired Race Horses.

The Grand Opening Reception will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 6:00 PM.

The exhibit is open to the public Wednesdays - Fridays 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Suggested donations for admission are $3 for adults, $2 for seniors and free for children under 14 years of age. Donations and Museum Memberships help fund the Museum's educational programs. Learn more.
