Jingle. Elf. Quest. 2012
Downtown Albany was invaded by jingle elves from December 5 to December 12, 2012. 
Live for the QuestElf Questers of all ages came out to find elves, take their pictures and post them.
Many won prizes. Here's just a few of the Jingle Elf Questers from 2012:

AmyAmy Grogan was named the 2012 Jingle Elf Quest Grand Prize winner for finding every hidden elf in Downtown, as well as following the daily clues to find additional elves, for a total of 54 elves. She was awarded a $500 gift certificate to a business of her choice located in the BID. Congrats Amy!

Due to their nimble and slinky ways, elf sightings are incredibly rare - so snap a photo of your accomplishment and share it with us. Post a picture of yourself finding one of the elves to:

Daily Clues
These sneaky and quick elves can’t sit still and stay in just one place. Their impatience is your opportunity to find even more elves. Check back for daily clues to find “Erastus,” the Downtown elf, who be hiding in a different location each day. These locations are different than the listed businesses below. Clues will be posted by 9:00 AM daily starting December 5, through December 12, 2012.

A little luck of the Irish may help you find me today. Apartments have recently been added above my head but I'd rather walk the exhibits at this museum.
Daily Prizes
There will be a random daily drawing for prizes such as: $50 gift certificates to Downtown Albany BID businesses (of your choice) and downtown Albany event tickets. We will also have daily prizes for the best group photo and the most creative photo.
Grand Prize
Go for the grand prize and find as many elves as you can between Dec. 5, 2012 – Dec. 12, 2012. The Jingle Elf Quester that finds the most elves during this timeframe will win a $500 gift certificate to a business of their choice. The business must be located in the Downtown Albany Business Improvement District (BID). Make sure you read all the rules and daily clues for additional ways to find elves.
