As owner and founder of Olivieri Recruiting, Gina Olivieri primarily works with clients in the Information Technology (IT), healthcare, and engineering industries.

"I am proud that diverse new businesses, especially those embracing the needs of the City of Albany’s dynamic workforce, are contributing to the area's continual, positive transformation," said Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan. "I am thankful Gina Olivieri chose to join our vibrant downtown Albany neighborhood, and wish her the best of luck."

To effectively understand an organization’s past, current, and future staffing needs, Olivieri analyzes the data she collects during consultations while developing close lines of communication to find a match that’s mutually beneficial for her client as well as the candidate on the job search. Olivieri understands that in order to increase employee retention and overall happiness, it’s important to examine all aspects of a company’s culture.

“I am beyond excited to be a part of the thriving business district of downtown Albany and am looking forward to helping more businesses find talent that contributes to the growth and improvement of their organizations,” said business owner Gina Olivieri.

Olivieri launched Olivieri Recruiting in October of 2017 after finding herself increasingly frustrated from working for other people who she considered were ultimately limiting her potential for success. According to Olivieri, “I was tired of being told ‘no’ and ‘you can’t do that,’ so it’s empowering to be able to now say, ‘yes, I can do that!’”

"Gina Olivieri selecting Downtown as the location for Olivieri Recruiting demonstrates yet another example of small and large professional service businesses opting to return to our urban centers,” said Downtown Albany BID executive director Georgette Steffens. "With the $30 million worth of investment that came online in 2018, $87 million that’s currently under construction, and another $220 million worth of additional investment in the pipeline, downtown Albany is becoming more densely populated by residents, employees, and commercial establishments; all of whom can benefit by having services like the ones Gina Olivieri is now offering right here. We are excited to support Gina Olivieri as her practice grows in downtown Albany."
