Schuyler Mansion 100th Anniversary Celebration


Visit Schuyler Mansion between 1:00 and 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 14 for an afternoon set in 1917!  The historic Schuyler Mansion site opened to the public on October 17, 1917 – almost exactly 100 years ago - and the place has been a swirl of activity to commemorate this auspicious anniversary. 

 

Murder Mystery Night at The Olde English Pub


The Olde English Pub will be hosting a night of dining and Murder Mystery on Thursday, October 19 at 6:00 PM.

New Exhibit at Albany Center Gallery: Masters of War


Masters of War, curated by Brian Cirmo, features regional artists who explore, comment on, and question a multitude of perspectives on war, human conflict, and our attraction to war as a cultural phenomenon.

The exhibit will be on display at ACG from Friday, November 3 to Friday, December 1, 2017.

An opening reception will be held on First Friday, November 3 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public!

 

Albany Center Gallery's 12th Annual Members' Show (Opening Reception)


The Albany Center Gallery will host the Opening Reception for its 12th Annual Members' Show on Friday, December 15 at 5:00 PM at its location at 488 Broadway.

As Albany Center Gallery (ACG) approaches its 41st year, the Annual Members' Show focuses on the importance of local and regional artists that live and create work within 100 miles of Albany. The 12th Annual Members' Show will be held from Friday, December 15, 2017 to Friday, January 12, 2018. 

Liquor Store Delivery App Debuts in Albany

Drizly, an e-commerce platform for liquor store deliveries, launched on Monday, October 2, 2017 for the Albany market. The company is based in Boston and started in 2013, and now serves 70 cities in the U.S. and Canada, including Buffalo and New York City.

Albany Center Gallery Announces Opening of Retail Store


Albany Center Gallery (ACG) has undergone some very positive changes over the last 12 months. In its 40th year serving the Capital Region, the gallery moved to a new location, expanded its audience, increased membership and sales, and raised its profile in the community. Given these successes, the Albany Center Gallery decided the time is right to embark on its next exciting venture: The Store @ ACG.
