Olde English Pub in National Fish & Chips Contest


Downtown's own English pub, The Olde English, is in the running to win a national title for best fish and chips in America. Entered into Old Speckled Hen Beer's 2016 competition, voting is open through November 30 and you can help them take home the title.

Siena 1937 Restaurant Week


Eight restaurants. Three courses. $19.37.

The Downtown Albany BID and Siena Athletics have partnered to celebrate the start of a new Siena Basketball season. The first Siena 1937 Restaurant Week offers diners three course meals at eight Downtown restaurants for $19.37, in recognition of the year of Siena College's founding. The event runs from Monday, November 7 through Sunday, November 13, the date of Siena men's basketball home opener against Hartford.
