Chef Yono Purnomo, a native of Indonesia, has expertly mastered the unique blending of exotic spices, soothing coconut milk, lemongrass, lime leaves and dragon-mouthed sambal, creating a unique, sophisticated, complex and layered cuisine. Yono will demo 4 easily made at home dishes: The wildly popular Bakmi Goreng (shown below), a healthful noodle stirfry; Daging Rendang a melt in your mouth, braised beef dish with lemongrass and Kefir lime leaves; Ayam Kecap (Balinese Chicken) with a fragrant sauce of coconut milk, ginger and orange. Kolak Pisang: The Indonesian version of Bananas Foster.
