Novel Coworking opening first New York location in Downtown

Chicago-based company Novel Coworking is expanding into New York following the purchase of 69 State Street. Plans for the 17-story building include renovations to provide modern and affordable workspace, with pre-leasing already underway for private offices, SmartSuites, and coworking memberships which start at $129 per month.

Slated to open Fall 2020, Novel Coworking's State Street members will get 24/7 building access, a coworking lounge, direct fiber internet, all utilities, an espresso bar, local beer on tap, modern furnishings, and community events included in rent. By owning the buildings where it operates, Novel Coworking is able to invest in infrastructure improvements including fiber internet and custom-built suites for up to 500-person teams.

“Located at Albany’s iconic center and just two blocks from the New York State Capitol, this building is an ideal location for a coworking center that will fuel downtown Albany’s job growth and expanding economic opportunities,” said Bill Bennett, founder of Novel Coworking, in a press release. “We are excited to serve Albany’s small businesses as well as enterprise companies with the modern, amenity-rich space they need to run their business.”

Membership opportunities include monthly coworking memberships for $129, private offices starting at $475 a month, and office suites as low as $175 per employee a month. For more information, visit Novel Coworking online
