The Downtown Albany Business Improvement District has received a $250,000 National Grid grant for lighting and streetscape improvements in the Convention Center District - see map below for details. Join us for this discussion as we bring to fruition our vision to turn these side streets into a main thoroughfare, creating a sense of place for this important area.

The African American History Month Celebration 2017


The African American Cultural Center of the Capital Region and Palace Performing Arts Center present the African American History Month Celebration at the Palace Theatre on February 24 from 7:00 - 10:00 PM. Event features Gospel Gala Choir.

Science Cafe | Ice Ages [Postponed due to snow]

The New York State Museum's Science Cafe is back and this time, they're covering the Ice Ages! Event will take place at The Hollow Bar + Kitchen, is free and open to the public.

Ice Ages with Dr. Andrew Kozlowski, Curator of Quaternary Landscape Materials and Dr. Robert Feranec, Curator of Pleistocene Vertebrate Paleontology.
