Albany Center Gallery hosts a Collage Workshop in their Art.Work.Space room on March 9 from 11:00 AM-3:00 PM. Open to ages 13-18.
Free; registration required. Space is limited.
In this hands-on art lesson, students will craft a dynamic collage on canvas. They’ll start by intuitively gluing a variety of papers onto the canvas. Then, they’ll cut out representational shapes of their choice to transfer onto the collage. Using paint, they’ll highlight different parts of their design. Finally, students will add more collage elements and painted details to complete their artwork.
