Alive at Five: Free concert series starts this week

The Alive at Five Summer Concert Series kicks off this week with Pride Night and continues throughout the summer with a variety of musical talent. The free music series takes place on Thursdays from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM, June 6 - August 1 (excluding July 4), and attracts huge crowds to Jennings Landing each year. Below is this year's lineup, which includes performances by Vannessa Carlton, Upstate Reggae Possie, DJ Show, and more.

 

2024 Alive at Five Lineup: 

  • June 6: Pride Night: Let's Sing Taylor - A Live Band Experience & Sydney Worthley 

  • June 13: Classic Rock Night: Dokken w/Hark 

  • June 20: Latin Night: Tito Puente Jr. w/Bronte Roman 

  • June 27: Pop Night: Vanessa Carlton w/Canella 

  • July 11: Hip-Hop Night: KRS-One w/DJ Show, Ohzhe 

  • July 18: Reggae Night: Third World w/Upstate Reggae Possie 

  • July 25: Rock Night: The Record Company w/Sirsy 

  • August 1: Funk Night: Galactic featuring Jelly Joseph w/Hilltop 

 

Parking: $8 flat fee and handicap parking is available at the Riverfront Garage (2 Columbia St.) and Quackenbush Garage (25 Orange St.) starting at 4:00 PM. For more information on parking options, visit www.parkalbany.com

 

Rain Location: At the 787 overpass at the Corning Preserve Boat Launch at Colonie Street and Water Street.
