The Irish American Heritage Museum shows the movie Agnes Browne as part of their monthly film series on January 9 at 6:00 PM.

The unexpected death of her husband sends a woman and her seven children, into emotional turmoil and financial crisis in 1967 Dublin. An honest, funny and affecting portrait of a 1960's Dublin widow determined to give her seven children the best education and life possible, as she and her friend work together at a local market. It won the Youth Jury Award at the 1999 San Sebastián International Film Festival. It also received a Grand Prix nomination at the Ghent International Film Festival the same year.
